The formulation contains TRIMETHYLGLYCINE, GLYCINE BETAINE active extracted from sugar beet. Betain is a natural osmoprotectant (Means: compatible solutes are small organic molecules with a neutral charge and low toxicity at high concentrations that act as osmolytes and help organisms survive extreme osmotic stress.), an osmolyte that protects skin cells from increasing air pollutants and environmental stress like oxidative (UV radiations) and thermal stress (dehydration) by controlling cell water balance. Trimethylglycine, glycine betaine also reinforces the epidermal barrier (Tight Junctions), bringing moisturizing, protection and sensorial benefits in many applications in skincare.
